I’m not gonna point blame and get all armchair critic. But it would’ve been nice if the ‘Mero saw the cars coming trying to merge and moved outta the way. We’ve got bunched up cars on the right but 2 free lanes on the left, would’ve been smart to avoid that situation.

It’s also heaps easier to get the hell outta there rather than trying to assess what all the mergers are doing and respond. It wasn’t his mistake that caused the accident, but if he’d changed lanes early his nice new letterbox would still be intact.

How do you know he wasn’t there because he was taking the next exit?

I know it’s courteous to let people merge, it is however, NOT MY JOB to make room for you.

It’s the longest entrance ramp in the world, he could’ve seen this coming long before he got stuck with the truck next to him. The cars were certainly in view.

It’s not your job BUT if you want to stay out of the way of idiots like the Kia driver as well as actually get where you’re going faster without creating unnecessary congestion, you might get out of the way. It’s not about who’s job it is, it’s about smart driving!

But yes, maybe he was exiting soon, we’ll never know. All we know is his day was ruined, and that making that exit is now the least of his worries.

Seeings the Kia’s ramp turns into a lane, the Kia cut across the solid lines before his lane even opened to the highway because he was an impatient douche, and because no one knows the Camaro’s intentions, putting any blame on the Camaro driver is wrong. Had the Camaro not been there, the other Kia in front of him would have become the victim.

I’m sorry, but with the line that was coming down that ramp, there was no way he’d have gotten back over there to take the exit had he moved. Considering the Kia’s B-line across traffic ( illegally I might add ), I doubt it would have mattered at all.

Good point about the lane continuing on. There’s no expectation the Kia would do anything at all. So less inclination for the Camero to move over.
